about Christian Bale...or more his body

Because this is a PHYSICAL fanlisting I do not even want to copy a list of the movies he was in here. There are plenty fansites out there for Christian Bale, first of all Christian Bale Fan, who's kind admin Angelic allowed me to grab some pics from her galleries to make this beautiful header and the codes.

Anyway I think, it is the right place to talk more about what this fanlisting is: Christian Bale's physical appearance.
While there are other actors out there, who are great actors as Christian is one, nobody has such a wonderful body as you could see it e.g. in the movies American Psycho, Equilibrium, Batman Begins...it is exactly as a male body should be. It is perfectness!!!

It would be easy to say for guys who train their body the whole day and vain about their body themselves, but in many interviews, Christian told us - he does not care, and working out is everything else than exiting: it is incredibly boring, see this quote on his transformation into Patrick Bateman for American Psycho:

"The character is so vain and obsessed with his looks. While the psychology of the character was something that I could perform, you can't fake the physicality. Being English, I tend to enjoy going down to the pub far more than going to the gym, so it was very unnatural for me. I just had to convince myself that I loved it, which was the most difficult thing about playing this part. Working out is incredibly boring. I swear it's true that the bigger your muscles get, the fewer brain cells you have. I found I had to stop thinking when I was in the gym because if I thought about it, I'd realize how ridiculous it was that I was pumping iron when I could've been out having a drink and a cigarette and enjoying some lunch. I did three hours a day for six weeks with a personal trainer and some time before that. I ate an awful lot during training and then almost nothing during filming."

And even if you think, he's just saying this to make us think, he gets that bady although he doesn't care, remember the incredibly fact, that for his movie "The Machinist" (which came right after his muscle-performances Reign of Fire and Equilibrium) he dropped 63 pounds of weight and was thinner than it was good for him without any muscles left (and looking horrible and not worth a physical fanlisting at all), and right after gaining the weight again for the movie "Batman Begins".
